Cardiologist:
Sometimes,
cats have heart problems that need to be looked into, in order to be able
to determine what the problem is and what we can do about it. Often the
first time we are aware there is something amiss is when the vet hears a
‘murmur’ or a problem with the heart rhythm when we listen to the chest
during a consultation. Most ‘cardiac work-ups’ include an ultrasound
of the heart (a very specialised procedure), and xrays of the
chest.
Dr
Richard Malik is one of the foremost feline specialists in the
world, and we are lucky enough to be able to arrange specialist
consultations here on our premises, where Richard performs the
ultrasounds.
